For about two years, the IEEE Indonesia Section has been promoting the IEEE academic and professional conferences, and encouraging universities and other scientific institutions in Indonesia to carry out IEEE conferences. With the support of the Indonesia Section, some universities has started organising IEEE conferences.
Aiming to improve the quality of the conferences, as well as the confidence of more universities and institutions in organising IEEE conferences, the IEEE Indonesia carried out IEEE Indonesia Conference Leadership Program, in Mercure Hotel, Ancol, Jakarta, 5-6 November 2014. The source and speakers of this program is PICs from IEEE MCE (Meeting, Conferences, and Events).
